A Newly Developed Nanosensor which is still under development can detect explosives in the air. It was developed in Israel and it is capable of detecting explosives in the air at amazingly low concentrations. According to the developers the nanosensor can detect as little as a few molecules in a hundred trillion. It can identify different types of explosives even from a few meters away. Even though the device is still in the prototype stage the accuracy and potential uses of the device are amazing. Detection equipment that is currently used is often bulky and complicated to operate. This tiny chip features nano-sized transistors that will make detecting explosives easier and faster.
