Nasa Photo Stream

The online Nasa Photo Stream is a cool way to keep up with what is happening at NASA. If you have ever wished you could be an astronaut, you will love this. Also a cool thing to follow if you are interested in space exploration. All the most recent photographs from NASA can be seen here. This includes pictures taken in space as well as photographs of NASA activities here on earth. The photo stream has been online since 2008, so there are a lot of cool images to check out. Nasa Photo Stream^ This photograph was taken in 1991 and it shows crew members for NASA's STS-48 mission. NASA has conducted many manned and unmanned space expedition since it's inception in 1958. In case you didn't  already know, NASA stands for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Most space missions in the United States have been lead by NASA. The role of NASA is not only to explore but also to collect valuable information. One example of this is the Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite. Data from this satellite is collected and shared with a variety of national and international organisations.

Most people are familiar with only some aspects of NASA's work. We all know about the moon landing and famed missions such as Apollo 13.
