Amazing Design Contest
The eVolo 2014 Skyscraper Contest has just launched. This is a fantastic opportunity for artists, engineers, designers, students and architects. First launched in 2006, this competition has become one of the most prestigious awards for architecture in the world. If you would like to kickstart your career by showing your most outstanding ideas, then this competition is an excellent way to achieve it. Entrants are asked to consider all aspects involved in amaing skyscraper design. These aspects include new technology, problem solving and sustainability. The objective of the contest is to provide participants freedom to design in a creative way. There are no limits when it comes to size, site or programs.

1st The Polar Umbrella
The first place in the 2013 Skyscraper Contest was won by Derek Pirozzi from the US. This innovative design is named the 'Polar Umbrella' it protects and regenerates the polar ice caps! It features dormitory style housing, renewable power stations and much more.

2nd Phobia

The second place prize in 2013 was awarded to Darius Maikoff and Elodie Godo from france. 'Phobia' was designed as a residential developement for paris, France. Recyclable materials are used in the construction.
