Man Made Biological Leaf

Plants are one of the most important things on this earth. They sustain life by producing oxygen. Scientists have recently created a Man Made Biological Leaf that can be used for many purposes. One of the things this leaf may be used for is space exploration. In the past scientists have experimented with plant life aboard spaceships. Space exploration can require astronauts to be in transit for a long time. The problem with using real plants to create oxygen is that they don't respond well to zero gravity environments. This artificial leaf could solve that problem. For long voyages it is not viable to simply stockpile oxygen and supplies. This leaf that was created by researcher Julian Melchiorri will help scientists to recreate earths atmosphere.
